This review is from: Two of Swords (Audio CD)
It is masterpiece...improvisation and sound are formidable. I love his sweet and aggressive solos...he make it look effortless...
International Jazz ProductionsGrammy-nominated trumpeter Claudio Roditi is one of the most prestigious Brazilian musicians on the international jazz scene. He has integrated post-bop elements with Brazilian rhythmic concepts, building a palette that lets him play both bebop and his beloved samba with power and lyricism. Roditi is separated from the pack by his "pervasive musicality and expressive purpose beneath all the technique."
Roditi's trumpet solo on Airegin is amazing!
