I got this so I can charge my phone and also use an FM ipod transmitter. To that end it works, and it only costs a couple bucks, which was a lot better than buying some more expensive pass through transmitter/charger.

There are never enough capabilities for applying 12 V power in a vehicle. I needed more connections for a trip and this solved my problem. Be sure that it will fit in your space.

Quit working in the first week with a total of about 2 hours of use over a few days. I wouldn't buy another one even though it was only a few dollars.
