Martina Cole writes a story about a loser in every sense of the word; Barry Dalston who torments and pushes his wife Susan to the brink of madness! Won't say anymore except it is a hard book to put down. Another hit Martina!

I found myself quite shocked at the graphic descriptions of brutality in this book but still couldn't manage to put it down. Not for the faint-hearted but I would still recommend it.

This review is from: Two Women (Paperback)
This was the first book I read by Martina Cole, and I've been a fan ever since.

She rights with such passion and really brings her stories to life. reading a Martina Cole book is like watching a movie in you're mind, you can see it all playing out as you read.

I would highly recommend her books.
excellent

One thing that can be said for Martina Cole books is that you cannot put them down once you start reading them. Susan Dalston is beaten black and blue by her husband who is a complete psychopath and creep. It was such a joy to see Barry get his due! Another blockbuster by one of the best authors or our generation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Two Women - Martina Cole, May 22, 2011

This is one of the best of Martina Cole ! I have read several of her books and they are all on the same subject......same environment, prisons, drugs ,prostitute. etc.....
But Two Women really got me hooked from the start. I usually finish a book and start reading another......but I don't read Ms. Cole's books one after the other as the stories are similar. But when I turn to her books again, I can't put it down until I finish it.

I do recommend " Two Women "
