I'm definitely not disappointed that I got this little guy (it does make a great statement piece in a foyer), but I would have felt a lot better about my purchase if it hadn't have been so expensive. If money is no object, go for it. If you are watching your budget and don't want to have Buyer's Remorse over this one, I wouldn't recommend it. After this purchase, I saw equally cute umbrella stands at other stores, like Z Gallerie, for half the price. There's no reason why this should cost more than $50.

I love Love this owl umbrella stand, but do your homework in price comparison first!! I bought this same exact guy (maker and all) in San Fran, CA in a chíc store for only $35!! Maybe i just got luck! So look around and find the best deal. Amazon normally is the best though but it's good to keep an eye out.

The owl I received is very poorly constructed. There are numerous imperfections in the glaze and the stand tilts forward and to the side. There are extra bits of clay in the mouth and on the nose, under the glaze. Very shoddy product.

I Love Owls
I love owls, so when I saw this umbrella stand, I had to have it. When it came, I was very pleased with it and it is now standing at attention by the door to my apartment.

In love with our owl
We love our umbrella owl. Lives by our front door and gets lots of complements. Looks great and is a really good size to accommodate lots of umbrellas.
