This cute faced puppy is larger than I thought. Based on the first review I thought I was buying one of the smaller ty's. I was surprised and delighted when it arrived. It's approximitely 8 inches from head to bottom (and is as adorable as its picture). It's a perfect travel companion and washes really well.

We've had one in the house for a few years now. The kids (5 and 2-1/2) love it. It's soft, cuddly, and sized just right for them. It's been taken all over the place, has provided companionship for them on many a long trip (including two to South Korea), given comfort when they are sad, and been used for countless hours of make-believe. Its worth has been far more than what was paid for it.

It's a wonderful softie for a child to cuddle; very easily brought along to fend-off a loneliness or stuffed into a travel bag for those unconsolable emergencies when one is on the road.

This is the softest, sweetest stuffed dog you could ever want. My daughter, 9, and my son, 4 both have had theirs for a year and a half. It has withstood many washings and daily playing. This is the best!

My daughter has had this puppy since she was born (it was a shower gift) and has loved it the whole time. Now that she is 17 mo old, it is absolutely her favorite stuffed animal and goes most everywhere with us. It is such a soft huggable toy and is MACHINE WASHABLE (!) which means that it is great for little kids who get food on it, throw up on it (sorry if TMI) and drag it through dirt. It is holding up well. My only concern has been what to do if we lose him. (Horrors!) Today I found the exact puppy for about $8 at Barnes and Noble, so now we have a spare. I'm not sure why it is listed for about $40-something here. But I do highly recommend this toy (or any of the Ty Pluffies) for small children.

Since my daughter loved real live dogs, I decided to get her this dog a couple of months before Christmas, in attempt to switch her allegiance from a stuffed monkey. It wasn't long before this became her everywhere companion. She not only wants him with her to sleep, but she feeds it, offers it drinks, plays with it, etc. I have machine washed multiple times, but I have let it air dry (I've never machine dried it). It doesn't take long to air dry.

This is the perfect first stuffed animal for baby - my son is 7 months old and LOVES it. I love that I can toss it in the wash. It wears well and is wonderfully soft (my son LOVES anything fleece-like). A great 1st TY toy.

I already owned one of these puppies. My daughter sleeps with it every night! Recently she wet the bed (and the dog) in the middle of the night. I couldn't give the puppy back to her because it was wet and she got very upset. I bought this one for a spare to have on hand. It's soft, adorable, and best of all, machine washable! Looks just like the picture before and after you wash it! Great toy...great price!!!

My son loves this toy. He sleeps with it every night and drags it around with him almost everywhere. I love pluffies because they clean so well. I just put it in the washing machine, and then set it out to dry. These are my favorite stuffed animals to buy for my kids.

My kids fight over the one we have. It's been a wonderful companion for my son (I got it back when they were $5). I have other Ty animals to try to appease my daughter but she wants one just liker her big brother - of course. Anyway, this is a great, durable toy. If you buy any similar Ty toy (we have a lion also) you will be happy with it.
