Ty Beanie Babies - Gobbles the Turkey

I have this beanie baby and display it every Thanksgiving. It is durable and looks great each year when I get it out. It helps give my home a Thanksgiving holiday feel.

I bought this turkey for my preschooler's class Thanksgiving party. We used it to play our version of "Hot Potato." I downloaded several versions of "Turkey in the Straw" to go along with it and the game turned out really cute. We even had all of the relatives play it when they came over for our family holiday dinner.

This is a beanie baby. Have you ever bought a bad one? Of course not. Turkey is colorful. My son keeps it in his bed.

I was happy to find Gobbles the Turkey on Aamazon as I had bought one in August, on clearence and sale priced, in my local drug store. When my youngest grandson, Aaron, saw him on Thanksgiving day, he fell in love with it and really wanted one for himself. Of course, the store where I had purchased Gobbles no longer had any available, which prompted me to go online to find one.

I was a little disappointed when the turkey arrived because the turkey I bought at the store was the large version and the one I ordered was the junior version. Not knowing there were two sizes of this turkey, I assumed it was the large version. My grandson loved it anyway. My daughter and grandson made a Santa hat for my Gobbles and gave it to me for Christmas, so we had to get Gobbles out of storage so he could watch the gift opening! They plan to make a Santa hat for Aaron's Gobble too.

This turkey is cute. I use it for passing it and tossing it to kids. It's a good size to throw and catch. The only thing I have to complain is the tail is really big and floppy, so it makes it a little heavy. Overall, I am very satisfied with this turkey.
