Righty the Elephant is probably a bit softer than the Grand Old Party would like, but his namesake becomes him. His official Beanie poem, which is almost identical to the poem for Lefty, the Democratic Beanie, is fitting:

Donkeys to the left, elephants to the right
Often seems like a crazy sight
This whole game seems very funny
Until you realize they're spending your money!

Perhaps an emblem of superpatriotism, half of Righty's pudgy body features red and white stripes; the other half has stars on a blue background. If it weren't for his face, trunk, and ears (which also exhibit bits of Old Glory), you'd swear he was just wearing presidential pajamas. At any rate, he's cute.

He is a cute patriotic elephant, and has a friend that is a donkey, Ty Beanie Babies - Lefty 2000 - Retired. I like the combination of the different fabrics that they used to create this. White with red and blue stars, red and white striped, Blue with white stars, and a light pink for the bottom of the feet, ears and the tip of the nose. He is very cute.
