Theodore, the most lovely of the three chipmunks, comes to life with this toy.
After watching Alvin and the chipmunks and Alvin and the chipmunks: the squeakquel, my girlfriend and I were in love with this little and lovely character. So I decided to check out some merchandising from this films, specifically looking for some item about Theodore.
I found this little toy, at great and convenient price. I bought it, and was super happy when received it.
Quality is great although it was manufactured in China, they seem to respect American standards.
One thing i really liked, is the heart shaped tag on his side. In side of it, it has the movie logo, and a quote from Theodore saying: "Does this make my butt look smaller?".
Size and weight are good and kinda real.
The face is lovely too.
If you liked this movies, you gotta buy this toy, and put it on your cats back! :)

My little guy loves Theodore, but was sad that his sweatshirt hood can't be pulled up to cover his head (the hood is just for looks and way, way, too small to go on his head). Here's his comment: "Mama, don't give me a Theodore with a little hood, someone shouldn't give me a Theodore with a little hood, I want somebody to give me a Theodore with a big hood!" I guess that Ty thought it would be weird to have a hood as big as the rest of the sweatshirt. Other than that, my son loves Theodore. Theodore seems pretty durable even in the hands of a three-year-old who got food on him. Theodore survived being rinsed in the sink. He dried out just fine, and after we rubbed his dried fur with a wash cloth he fluffed out and feels as soft as ever.

Since I grew up with Alvin and the Chipmunks I bought this for sentimental reasons. Although it is adorable and I love it, I would not recommend it as a toy or see any educational value. Like all Beanie Babies, it is tiny and more of a collector's item than anything else. A small child might play with it similar to playing with a doll house. Or, they may enjoy having it, if they have the movies.
