This kitty is my grandson's favorite stuffed toy. It's just right for a small child to hold and cuddle. The ears and paws are the right size to fit in a little mouth! He has at least five kitties---in case one gets left behind, or is in the wash. They travel with him everywhere and help tuck him in at night. A very cute kitty!

Both my daughter's mother-in-law and I bought this kitty for our first granddaughter. When our grandson arrived and appropriated the kitty, I bought another and a few spares.

But we were down to just two kitties (they are sturdy but many, many washings can wear them out)when the second grandson arrived and latched onto his brother's.

We needed a third, but this one cost $35 instead of the $9.99 we originally paid.

Somewhere along the line in the last five years, someone saw fit to more than triple the price of this simple, huggable toy, putting it out of reach for many families.

Such a shame. My grandchildren still take this toy kitty to bed and find comfort in it when they are upset. It is not an "educational" toy or even one that is a lot of fun (though my granddaughter loves making up stories involving her kitty), it is a comfort toy. But now it is a very expensive one.

My two year old son fell in love with this cat since he was about six months old. He can't sleep or relax without it. As soon as it is in sight he begins to suck his thumb, which he does not do without the cat. I have looked everywhere for a replacement and am so happy that I found it because his is so well loved that the tail has been repaired and the belly is completely empty of stuffing. It has really put up with tons of torture and is still cute. Best toy ever !!!

I received this kitty as a baby shower gift when I was expecting my daughter, who will soon be 2. She has loved this little kitty since she was an infant. So much so, that one of the arms is now limp from where she somehow pushed all the stuffing into the body area, and the fur is getting a little nubbly in some places.

She does not like to sleep without it. If she cannot find her kitty in her crib, she cries and calls for her " 'at!" I was so happy to find this kitty online, and bought 2 so that I could keep some "spares" around in for wash day or in case one got lost. (Yes, I can wash kitty in the washing machine and then put him in the dryer, and he comes out just as good as when he went in.)

Overall, this little kitty is soft and resilient, and a great pal for my daughter. Be sure to remove the tags before giving him to your child, though.

I received this cat as a baby shower gift before my daughter was born, and she has loved this little cat to death! Her first word was "cat" (pronounced "at!"), and she doesn't want to sleep without it.

I just ordered 2 more because after less than 2 years of being mauled, it's starting to show some wear and tear. Not only does it look "well-loved" now, but my daughter somehow managed to push all of the stuffing out of the cat's left arm. Now the poor thing has a very floppy and empty paw, but she loves him just the same.

I've washed the cat several times, and he comes out ok. I would recommend buying more than one, though, so that you don't have to time the wash and dry cycles around nap and bed time!
