My 5-year-old (4 at the time) put this game at the top of his Christmas list because he had played, and loved, the first Ty game.

He was very happy with the game. The game play is sometimes challenging, but never frustratingly so. He and I play together sometimes, with me taking the controller when he needs to get past something that's a little too challenging.

We completed the game, but he keeps going back for more.

I just saw that Ty 3 has come out. The fact that he is already begging for it is some indication that Ty 1 and 2 are worth it.

I didn't really enjoy this game. Its too confusing and the story line is stupid. Trust me don't even spend your money on this game.

this is a great game there are about 20 boomerangs you can use. my favorite is the kaboomerang. you can drive around in helicopters, subs, a truck type thing, and go karts. you can also use mechs. this game is so fun. i played this game for 25 hours total. it's only flaw is that killing lizards is way too easy.
