Bill Herzog's Tying Strong Fishing Knots is a useful and "user friendly" compendium of knot-tying instructions that are enhanced with easy-to-understand illustrations illuminating an accessible and informative text. Whether generalized knot-tying, or the adroit creation of a specialized knot, this 48-page, portably sized "how to" book will prove to be an invaluable addition to any dedicated fly fisher's reference shelf.

This book is clear, filled with great pictures and very few words. It's just the knot book I've been looking for.

Bill's book is the angler's version of draw-by-the-numbers. Aimed mostly at neophyte trout and salmon anglers, this book shows how to tie useful knots for all occasions.

Very nice. Learned about a few new knots. Would have liked to have seen a section for braided lines. Fairly easy to understand directions.
