The knife is good. How good, I won't know until I've had it for a while. There is a slight drag to it. But the block is a terrific idea. I guess I didn't realize until I received the second knife that the holders have magnets. They take very little space and adhere together on your counter in whatever order you desire. I love the concept of being able to put the knives I choose in the order I want them, instead of having a big block on the counter and placement of the knives decided for me.

This knife is Excellent. Came out of the Box sharp as a razor. The rubberized handle is great and easy to grip. I looked at several knives including Global, Wustof, and Henckels and I would say these are at least on par with those. Don't let the price fool you these are High Carbon and Stainless Steel Underneath the bonded Titanium coating. The weight is great and I really enjoy the individual wood blocks. Highly Recommend
