I'd heard a few tracks from Tyler's commercially released CD, THE TRACKS OF TYLER HILTON, was impressed and bought this title on a whim. If I didn't know, I'd never have guessed that this guy was a teenager when he wrote and recorded these tracks. Though, some of the lyrics confirm his age at the time slightly, the performances are so well done and heartfelt, that one forgets (gladly) that the song's author and performer was a teenager. The song styles cover the gamut of folk, country, pop, and rock with stylistic ease and panache. Tyler has one of those 'one too many filterless cigarettes' voices, but in a good way: there's just enough scratch to give his voice, and performances, character. I hope that Maverick will continue to allow this artist to grow, because based on this independent release, he's definitely just begun. Well worth checking this release out.

I have loved Tyler Hilton ever since i heard his song "when it comes" for the first time. He has an amazing voice and amazing talent. He is also an crazy good guitar player. Tylers music is sooo good. I was lucky to see him in NY once and meet him. He sounds just as good, or even better in person and he was so nice and sweet when i met him. Definatly buy his CD!!

There's many new artists coming out every year and well one reason why Tyler is going to be BIG this year is because he's one talented guy. From these tracks you can find out how much talent Tyler has. Lyrically the album is really good and the overall performance of the songs is amazingly good. Who knew at such an early age that Tyler would make great music? So you guys should definately buy this CD now.

It's nice to hear a younger Tyler Hilton. He has a good voice. Love it!

His voice is amazing, his talent is outstanding. He will grab you and hold your attention for the entire disc! His abilities are far beyond his years. I recomend this artist to anyone and everyone. Glad is my ring tone on my phone. His following is small, but believe me it is worth jumping on!! I wouldnt suggest watching him on One Tree Hill. That is where I first saw him and heard part of his song. I was some what hesitant to buy his album, because he seemed to have a better than you attitude on the show, and usually the music shows this. I gave it a chance anyways and to my suprise, his music is full of love and it is just amazing!! GET THIS ALBUM!!

Tyler Hilton has a quality all of his own that surpasses any artist of this day and age! He writes the most amazing lyrics, and then performs them with great emotion! These songs aren't released in stores yet, and amazon is giving everyone a chance to get it now! I really recommend this CD, especially if you liked "The Tracks of..." And if you haven't heard the Tracks of..., you need to because it is amazing!

tyler hilton wrote and sang these songs at an age where most people wouldn't dream of having their own cd. this proves that his talent started at a very young age, and he only gets better and better. you should all own this cd.
