This is a good movie, great plot, and good acting.

The characters seemed very underdeveloped, and the story was really lacking the passion and meaning that you see in most other movies by Tyler Perry.
Matt
I think this movie will show people in relationships just how much one's love can mean.

Not to give anything away but it shows you the grass is not alway greener! Idk what the deal is with the people giving it one star...maybe because it's not riddled with graphic sex scenes, the situations are real, powerful and true to life. Very good reasons why you should not cheat or stay with a cheating partner!!! Tyler just keeps on getting better and better!

I loved this movie and it was really moving. It makes you see how one mistake can really mess up your whole life and others around you. I would recommend this movie to everyone!

Judith has been married to her husband, Brice, for six years; she's known him for nineteen. Judith and Brice were children when they met - went from best friends, to dating, to marriage.

As soon as I heard how long Judith and Brice were together, I would have thought they set a solid foundation and that they're marriage was strong but since the movie trailer makes it clear that Judith does not resist "Temptation", I knew that was not the case. The adultery was coming and I wanted to know the circumstances that led to the betrayal.

Judith (Journee Smollett-Bell): She was an educated woman and I believe she loved Brice, but the woman had an adventurous side waiting to get out. There was nothing wrong with that. She didn't want to 'exist her life away'. There was nothing wrong with that. But she made bad choices because she listened to the wrong voices. If she and Brice would have communicated better, maybe things would have turned out differently. If she would have taken her mother's wise counsel seriously, she would not have suffered so much pain and heartache.

Brice (Lance Gross): He appeared to be weak, but he was meek (strength under control). He was a calm, sensible man. A good man. His mistake was taking his wife for granted and making her feel unappreciated. I liked the character, but there were times I wasn't happy with him.

Harley (Robbie Jones): A troubled man with abandonment issues. He knew all the right things to say to get what he wanted. There was nothing I liked about him.

Sarah (Ella Joyce): A wise Christian woman. I wanted to know her story.

Melinda (Brandy Norwood): As soon as she was introduced, I could see something wasn't quite right. I was curious about what was going on with her.

I like Tyler Perry and expected so much more than this ridiculous mess. Anything would have been a better use of that $3.99. The only thing worse than the worn out story line was the horrible acting. Kim Kardashian should have been my first hint.

What kind of message is Tyler Perry trying to send with this movie? Honestly, I think he just hates women. So mad right now.

You're probably going to watch it, even though it sucks, so wouldn't want to ruin it for you by revealing the "surprise (complete bs) twist", but when you waste your money and your time and you get to the end, you can just picture me, standing out here with two middle fingers waving in the air in the movie's general direction saying "I told you so."

I started watching this in the belief that as with most Tyler Perry's movies it would be funny. This is not that type of story. There is a serious attempt to tell the story of two children who grew up together in the same neighborhood went to school and church and as teenagers found love and later marriage. Their lives fell into the everyday humdrum of predictability, until a client with certain nefarious wishes was forced by her boss onto her. She conducted herself in a professional manner even though she disliked this client's requirements. Reluctantly she found herself drawn into the web of this character, after being constantly bombarded by an associate who felt that she was not dressing in a manner suitable for the environment in which she worked. What Mr. Perry would have us believe is that a woman would find shopping so enticing that she would fall for any man who can take her shopping and drive her around in a fancy car. Is that today's woman? The end is as predictable as any movie goer would imagine. Same old stuff minus the car chases and car "accidents".

As with any poor life choice, I had sneaking suspicions that this had large potential to go south fast.
My error: I IGNORED THE REVIEWS. I decided "eh, some people are just too critical and it can't be that bad." Oh, but it was.
If you absolutely must, please wait for it to show on cable, rent it from __Box outside the grocery store and don't waste double on it (I rented online).
What's right with this movie: The people are attractive.
What's wrong with this movie: Kardashian + Brandy + Vanessa Williams... 'nuff said. BAD ACTING from ALL the actors-even the leads. This movie has Lifetime written all over it-scariest part is I think Lifetime could've made a better movie. This is the movie equivalent of the walk of shame and I will be telling NO ONE (aside from those of you visiting reviews) that I've PAID for something this bad.
