The software is really great. You will really want to upgrade to Accordance 9 from the version 8 that is included on the CD. The software is normally $69 but is included for free on the CD. The upgrade will cost you about $45 but it is worth it if you are an iOS user. I have the entire commentary series on my iPad for easy access.

A previous reviewer complained about the fact that the Accordance software comes with KJV. This is a bit of a drag but you can add other versions for a cost. It would cost about $30 to add another version (ESV, HCSB, etc.). This is expensive on a per version basis. Pick one and be content... you can access tons of other version online for free. I wasn't buying this edition for the bible that came with it but rather for the vast collection of commentaries for a great price!

I like that I can have several windows open allowing me to read more than one commentary at the same time.

I also like accordance's instant details allowing Scripture references to be view immediately amidst the readers text.

This package comes with a version of Accordance Version 8 which runs on current apple's operating systems.

Sweet commentaries!

Very disappointing since it is based on the King James Version (vs NIV for the PC version) and the cost is substantially more than for the PC version. It would seem that the publicity material should have statd that it was based on the KJV AND that any updates would cost substantially more to acquire. I was prepared to pay more for the Mac version but I will not be spending anything further on what is already and expensive product.
