This is an exceptional anthology of typewriter art from the very beginning of the machine to the present day. The book includes historical essays and several interviews with typewriter artists, but, if you are like me, you will get distracted while reading them by page after page after page of fascinating typewriter art. The variety of the art is amazing. You will come across many pages and think, "How did someone get a typewriter to do that?" Tullett has done a wonderful job with this lovely book. Recommended.

Truly thorough and beautiful survey of typewriter art. The only disappointing thing was learning that I didn't invent this incredibly rich art form as a teenager ; )
