4.0 out of 5 stars A highly pragmatic specialized grimoire
A good shadow tome for those who follow Kenneth Grant's magickal system, or the works of Aleister Crowley, or for that matter, those who practice the magick of Austin Osman Spare. "As stated in the book itself; the (Shadow Tarot) cards are not necessary in performing the rituals contained therein, self-constructed cards will do just fine."

2.0 out of 5 stars Sort of a Dissapointment
Having collected a rather steep assortment of "Black Magick" texts, I thought this would be a fine addition. That being said, I couldn't even call this a book. Being a mere 38 pages long, the rituals seem to me more of a way to plug their "Shadow Tarot Deck" than anything else. Not a completely useless book, however it is not at all what I expected. I read it in just over...

I read it in just over an hour and realised without the special tarot deck, I couldn't even attempt most, if not all of the procedures listed inside. So let's get this straight, I have to spend moe money, just to attempt the rituals. Hmmmmm....no thanks.

The Magick of this book is taken from Kenneth Grant's 'Nightside of Eden', almost being a translation if You will. It's a lot cheaper than Grant's title and might be useful even without the "Falorian Tarot" according to one's abilities.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent material, November 10, 2010

The text alone is excellent material although it benefits greatly by the possession of the actual "Shadow Tarot" deck by Linda Falorio.
