I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I'm so impressed with this course I think it's a shame no-one has reviewed it yet. In fact, we've hardly used the book as the CD ROM does it all for you.

Lesson by lesson you quickly learn, not just the letters but all other functions on the keyboard. Each lesson can also be practised via a selection of simple games.

The lessons are explained audibly and then shown visibly. You interact to complete the lesson and practise sessions.

Later lessons include document layout, tables, borders, bullets and other word processing functions. I have been using this course for myself and my 2 teenagers. It's excellent.

We tried 2 other dead boring book courses for typing before this one but simply didn't make progress as they were just unbelievably tedious. This book / CD has made all the difference. If you want to learn keyboard skills I would highly recommend this set.

The typing program includes simple but progressive lessons that can be accomplished at your own pace giving you freedom to try and try again. It was easy to load to our computer and find our way around the program. The games included were a nice break from the plain lessons but kids used to video games might be disappointed with the graphics. The music included with the practice lessons is relaxing and not monotonous. My husband uses it and my teenager both hoping to increase their speed and accuracy (and for a little down time in front of the computer screen). Overall a helpful product.

I've used this book for over a year now to teach keyboarding to adults, most of whom have little or no keyboarding experience. The combination of the book's exercises and the program on the included disk is a good one--everyone learns differently, and it's nice to have these options. The only complaint I would have is that the lessons in the book and those on the disk are not coordinated--but that's minor.

This is a great book, but it was not very fun for my 15 year old brother-in-law. He likes his other more interactive program which has fun games and keeps scores.

After reading the reviews, I bought the book and am happy I did. It's reasonably priced and helpful to those who want to advance their typing speed. There are enough exercises to keep you entertained. I've only used the textbook, but cant wait to start using the CD. Thank you for your reviews... I probably would not have purchased it if it wasnt for the positive reviews from previous buyers.

The book has helped greatly and was shipped on time.

My typing speed and accuracy have improved tremendously since I've read this book. On 3 minutes passage typing, my accuaracy jumped from 88% to 100% and my speed perked up from 20WPM to 360WPM.

This product was back ordered for months,so I bought the keyboarding for everyone with out the CD/ROM!
