Don't bother ... no, really - don't bother.,

This review is from: Tyrannosaurus Rex (Age of Dinosaurs) (Paperback)
I always want to say something positive about a book ... this one has a great cover. Aside from this it has no redeeming value whatsoever. It's currently out of print, and justifiably so. Words that spring immediately to mind are cliche, derivitave, plodding, forced, and pointless. Add to this a completely unbelievable "pull the rabbit out of the hat" ending in the last three pages of the book and you get the general idea. Seriously, if you want a good lost civilization/dinosaur type novel, stick to E.R. Burroughs, or re-read Jurassic Park; it will be a better use of your time, and far more enjoyable.
