Product Description

This sleek, '50s, diner-style "jukebox," with true dipped-chrome appearance, has the look and feel of the good old days, but the technology of today. Printed song flip-charts list song title and artist, for easy music browsing and selection, just like an authentic '50s jukebox. Included CD, with 100 vintage songs, corresponds to the flip chart and holds hours worth of classic hits. Enter the two-digit song codes (i.e. "B1" or "G7") -- just like on a vintage jukebox --- and hear that track. Multiple song selections are "stacked" for playback, in the order they were entered, just like the jukeboxes of old. Optional random or continuous play adds to the listening options. Lighted keys show current song playing and various lighting options illuminate other parts of the jukebox for a special ambience. "Now Playing" scrolling LCD also displays the song title, artist and album. What's more, the authentic sounds of an old time jukebox --- from the whirring sounds of the record loading, to the crackling sound of the needle on the record, are recreated to add to the theme. In addition to the included vintage music CD, the unit also acts as a traditional CD, or MP3-formatted CD, player and has an FM radio with 20 station memories, Unit features excellent (not vintage!) stereo sound quality, from two on-board speakers, and has line and headphone outputs, to add to its versatility. Package contains information on additional CDs/flip cards of vintage music, as well as blank flip cards and software to create-your-own jukebox CDs (available for purchase from the manufacturer). Perfect for weddings, parties or other social events --- and a great conversation piece. 15 H x 11.5 W x 6.25 D, 12 lbs.

I bought this Jukebox in 2006 for our home. It has worked without problems now for the last 4 years. It came with a MP3 disc of 100 really good Oldies songs, and you can cue up these songs by finding the correct strip and pressing the button just like a real juke box. It has buttons to set to autoplay the songs in different way, like random, party, etc. It has a jack to send the music to a stereo or external speakers. It has led lighting effects which you can change from red to blue, and leave on all the time or just when playing it. It also has a built in FM radio, and it gets a good clear signal.
The audio sound quality overall is nice and clean for a counter top radio, and plenty loud enough with the built in speakers. When each song cues up, it has a recorded sound of a nickel falling in, then the sound of the platter being dropped and the needle going down, very cool! It will also play CD's. It is designed to allow you to use a different MP3 disc but they do not carry any from the manufacturer. According to the instructions, you can order a set of strips to change the titles to your own music. I ordered these, and did receive them. The item weighs less than 10 pounds it seems. The chrome finish on the plastic has held up do far, the item still looks new. So far we are more than pleased with this jukebox.
UPDATE: 2013 and it still works, even though the manufacturer is out of business I hear. One of the problems these have is the power plug. If you are having trouble with yours, try turning the plug around and plugging it upside down from the way you have it.

First of all shipping was very fast! I was so happy to have it over the Labor Day weekend.

The system is awesome. It is bigger than I thought and very durable. The lights and old juke box sounds are awesome! The CD it comes with is great with many oldies to choose from. Or you can put the CD of your choice in. FM stereo works great. Nice quality sound. Perfect for the kitchen! The "stack" mode is great, just like the real thing!

I would recommend this for anyone who wants to travel back in time! It is truly a great conversation piece and an awesome addition to my Diner style kitchen!
Thanks

My wife got me the Jukemaster 100 about 5 years ago as a Birthday Present and I was Wow'd! Mine has the Elvis Glass by accident at the factory but very cool unit. For a while I was able to make my own CDs but the software is now out of date. My unit went dead after two years or so and it turned out to be a bad power supply. A guy at Radio Shack hooked me up with a compatible one and all is well again. My kids love it and often play, sing and dance to their favorite oldies.
