The illustration makes it look as though it's a lot more substantial than it really is. This is basically just a single layer of tyvek that's about as substantial as a disposable table cloth. I'm sure it's fine for what it is, but I was led to believe this would be a little more durable. The buttons also seem cheap and prone to falling off.

I've read the reviews by others and I can understand what they are saying. It looks like a flimsy piece of paper doesn't it. But it is made from Tyvek. A space age material that's light weight, water resistant, and very strong. It's the same material the post office and UPS use for mailing packages. Go ahead and try to tear it. It won't tear. I buy these for working on my cars. They last a year or two without a single tear. Yet they feel like you have nothing on because they are so light. I only get rid of them because they get so filthy I just throw it away and put on another one. So think of these for what they are: a very light weight coverall to protect your clothes for dirt and grease. They are not a tuxedo!

I got this as a gift for my father, he had just finished getting his Doctor Degree in Ministry and I just had to make him a "Real Doctor" It was a Hoot and all agreed.

You get what you pay for. I am stunned at how poorly made it is. I know I shouldn't expect much from a $5 lab coat, but I didn't expect a coat made from what appears to be a plastic bag/paper towel hybrid. I might not have cared so much about how paper thin it was except that it also arrived completely wrinkled as if someone wadded it up and threw it in a box. There is no way to iron it as the material just shrinks up to heat. Picture is completely deceiving.

This product is extremely cheaply made. It is so thin that when I pulled off the label sticker it actually ripped a hole in the front of the coat. I've seen trash bags that will hold together better than this thing. I do not recommend this to anyone. Even a Halloween costume lab coat would be more effective than this thing.

This product is not as advertised. Simply put, it is a piece of junk, and your money could best be used elsewhere. The tag stickers don't come off without damaging the lab coat, which is pretty significant given there isn't a whole lot of substance there in the first place. A complete waste of my money.
