I started using U-Lactin every night (and every morning when I'd remember) after I found it on Amazon, and my skin started to feel smoother after just a few days. Then, the redness started to subside. It never irritated my skin or felt too oily. I used it on my forearms and hands too just because it made my skin feel good. I used it faithfully until it was gone, and now I'm back to order some more. It is worth every penny, and even without using it for a little over a week now, my arms are still smooth and clear of red patches. I did notice that my skin started to itch a little since running out, as it did before using it, so I know it was making the difference! If you have keratosis pilaris, this is the lotion you want!
After researching dermatologists recommendations, I sought a lotion containing urea and lactic acid. Thought I'd give U-Lactin a try. I was amazed with the product the first day! The lotion actually soaked into my skin on the first application. The flaky areas immediately improved, the itching stopped, and the ugly old lady "alligator" patterns smoothed out!
I am VERY pleased with this product!
U-Lactin Moisturizing Lotion - 16 Oz
Urea creams such as this are great for KP aka chicken skin. Apply this after you get out of the shower and then apply a thin layer of vaseline on top to lock in the moisture. Your KP, if it's not too too severe, should be eradicated within a few days,
Upon closer inspection of the ingredients of the two lotions, I found that my sample had 25% urea, but U-Lactin only has 10%. I searched for another lotion that has 25% urea and found one. My legs are happy again.
