Bought this so my hair wouldn't get caught in the mask strap. When it gets wet it gets heavy and drags the mask strap down on to your neck. It doesn't help that the neoprene material doesn't grip your head as well as the silicone strap does. It is a good idea but did not work at all. I found it to be pretty much worthless.

Too long for a woman's head,

Too long for a woman's head. I could not tighten it enough for it to work. Would have to cut off a lot from each end and then it would not hold the snorkel well. Stick with a regular slap strap.DH did not like it either - too much fabric ... sounds like a great idea but did not work in the field for us!

I'm a novice snorkler and this is my first time using this kind of strap. I've seen them on other peoples masks and decided to try them, for both my son and myself. Well they worked great and would never buy a mask without one again. They do not pull your hair and are way more comfortable then the rubber ones that come with most masks.
