I purchased three of these for our trip to Hawaii. After testing them in the pool yesterday, I am convinced that this is a great product and will be purchasing three more. A nice snug fit insures that no water will leak through the mask. If you spit or add no fog liquid, you won't have a problem with it fogging up (obviously). If you decide to dive into the water while wearing the snorkel, water will not go into your mouth. When you come up you just blow it out of the snorkel. You don't even need to have a lots of air in your lungs to do this. Again, a great product for those who are not looking to spend lots of money.

Took this mask on vacation throughout the Carribean and Florida summer 2010. Performed great without any problems. If going on a cruise or vacation, important to have your own snorkeling equipment rather than pay to rent or but that cheap stuff on the cruise ship.

Do not buy this mask! we bought these for our vacation to use when we snorkled, when i opened this one for my husband it had this toxic smell to it. I just assumed it would go away once opened and aired out, it did not! i even soaked it in soapy water. I tried everything!!!! There is no way anyone could keep this on and not pass out! horrible!

I thought (hoped) I would have a different experience than some of the other reviewers, but unfortunately mine was the same. The mask leaked no matter what I did to it. I think a big problem was the straps on the mask, that were not very springy. This made it so I couldn't quite get the mask tight enough. If i made it extra tight, i couldn't get it over my head. There was nothing i could do. Sucks to find out after you're already in the Caribbean trying to snorkel. This item is not recommended.

Good mask for its value. I bought this to do field work in the seagrass beds, and it's been working well for me. I still have trouble with water leaking into the mask no matter how tight I make it, but that may be an issue of my face-shape. I also have trouble purging - there always seems to be just a little bit of water left in the snorkel. It doesn't inhibit breathing, but I can hear the water droplets rattling every time I take a breath.

After renting similar snorkels in Hawaii I purchased two of these for my wife and I this year to take on a cruise. The snorkel works just as advertised! The only time I got water in my mouth was when the entire snorkel end was submerged.

The goggles work great and don't fog up to badly considering the conditions.

I'm sure there are features that expert snorkelers would want, but this set would work just fine for the average tourist.

Mask worked fairly well for a couple of months of use (approx 1x/week). Unfortunately, due to the inferior craftsmanship on the connecting piece of plastic to the strap, the mask broke. The snorkel seems to work fine.

It's an ok mask for this price. Not the best one but usefull for people that don't use it very often.

We have used US divers masks for many years and never a complaint.

The masks that we ordered via Amazon were shipped within specified time and are great.
