I bought these for my 10 year old son and when we got them, the strap was already broken. It could not be adjusted on the clasp. This is the second set of US Divers fins that I've had this problem with. Pay a little more and get Cressi fins. Much better quality.

My son spent a fair amount of his hard earned money on these fins and was heartbroken when the 'post' attaching the adjustable strap on one fin ripped out of the 'shoe' during his fourth use of the fins.

Before the failure, they worked great, but the now almost new useless fins sit reminding him of his poor purchase.

Our only opportunity to snorkel is on vacation trips. On advice from our family, who have made trips to the Caymans, we purchased fins and masks rather than renting when we got there. Best thing we ever did. They were excellent, fit very well and were inexpensive to boot. We snorkelled every day, had no problems with the equipment and enjoyed the experience.
