2.0 out of 5 stars While once a great resource, information is now dated., August 20, 1999
By A Customer
This book was great during the 1997 time period when it was first published. However, INS has made so many recent changes and interim rulings that in terms of a "how to" book I find it to be dated and no longer totally reliable for current law.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for simple immigration cases, January 2, 1999
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
There are many persons who believe immigration attorneys are necessary in every case - untrue. For the most part, a healthy dose of self-help is prudent and cost-effective.

This book describes common scenarios and basic legal cases in what can only be described as "story book" form - clear, concise and direct. I have read all the self help manuals and this one deserves your review.

If you have a simple immigration case..get this book, read it and follow the directions carefully. You will save thousands in attorney fees.

This is not the first book I have read on the subject; it is the best, however. The information is well presented and helpful.
