The mold is very harsh, very deep grooves, big windows. The actual material is very cheap compared to all the other Furuta (F-Toys) models.

The nacelles are not even close to parallel. It suffers from an extreme version of the micro-machines nacelle problems. Not straight, bent or flat pylons. Also, the Saucer mold is so bad, the Captain's Yahcht/Quantum Torpedo launcher is oversized and hangs low to block the deflector dish.

The paint is not only wrong, but ugly. The Starfleet logo/stripes are not parallel to the lines of the ship the curve upward, so the red lines that should be straight curl in sort of a mild u shape. The deflector dish is a dark brown piece with a dab of blue paint.

Ugly junk.

I share some of the previous complaints about the bent nacelles, but considering the limited selection available for this ship it is very detailed. You get what you pay for and in my opinion it is worth every dime.

This little ship is greatly detailed and shaped to match the movie version. It even has the escape pods indicated! This is one of my favorite Star Trek ships and I am very happy that this one was done so well by Furuta!
