5.0 out of 5 stars enterprise e
I share some of the previous complaints about the bent nacelles, but considering the limited selection available for this ship it is very detailed. You get what you pay for and in my opinion it is worth every dime.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage, overpriced, one of the worst Enterprise E models/toys
The mold is very harsh, very deep grooves, big windows. The actual material is very cheap compared to all the other Furuta (F-Toys) models.

The nacelles are not even close to parallel. It suffers from an extreme version of the micro-machines nacelle problems. Not straight, bent or flat pylons. Also, the Saucer mold is so bad, the Captain's Yahcht/Quantum...

Also, the Saucer mold is so bad, the Captain's Yahcht/Quantum Torpedo launcher is oversized and hangs low to block the deflector dish.

The paint is not only wrong, but ugly. The Starfleet logo/stripes are not parallel to the lines of the ship the curve upward, so the red lines that should be straight curl in sort of a mild u shape. The deflector dish is a dark brown piece with a dab of blue paint.

Ugly junk.

This little ship is greatly detailed and shaped to match the movie version. It even has the escape pods indicated! This is one of my favorite Star Trek ships and I am very happy that this one was done so well by Furuta!

I've been trying to build a limited collection of mostly Enterprise only- TOS, Ent Refit, Ent A, B, C, D, E, NX, etc that are relatively in scale to each other and doesn't take up a lot of space in my home. The Furuta stuff is pretty close. The level of detail at this scale may be unmatched, especially the paint job, but the NX-01 I got from 'Johnny Lightning' is very good also, as well as a few from 'micro miniatures'.

The Futura stuff can seem a little 'thin'or 'squashed' when you first get Ent D or Ent E and the thing is only 4" long. The underside of the saucer section's is almost concave, but I think it's intentional and lends more a sense of motion to these gorgeous little forms. After all, you're attempting to depict a vessel that is over 600 meters in length within 4 inches.

Poor little Enterprise E looked like a squashed bug when I first snapped it together, but with a VERY GENTLE application of heat and a little reshaping she perked right up. That's the only one I've had to do anything with otherwise they just snap together in a jiffy without a hitch.

Taken by surprise, I find that studying these little gems has changed the way I see FORM all around me; in nature, etc. I find myself much more appreciative and mindful of such things, and all the grand design that goes into them.
