"SHOWBOAT...A BATTLESHIP AT WAR" is an amazing history of the USS NORTH CAROLINA that covers every aspect of the ship's life, from launching to its role in WWII, to her retirement as a museum in Wilmington, NC. There is a lot of great historical WWII footage of the USS NORTH CAROLINA in action. There footage of the guns firing, of Kamikazis attacking, & life at sea. There is also a powerful section on the attack on Pearl Harbor! The video ends with the ship finally being retired to Wilmington, NC where it has become a battleship museum. The film is narrated by Captain Glenn Ford.
