It is a nice piece of plastic, that seems to be an intrepid class starship, but it is not.
there is major lack of detail, for example the upper midsection. nice toy, but no exact model and much too expensivefor what you will get.

This little ship was a very interesting design path for the Star Trek universe and I thought that this model was a great represenation of it. The only thing I might want would be for the ship to have the nacelles actually move like on the actual ship as it would be easy to put a pin through the hinges. Otherwise, this ship is extremely detailed considering how small it is!

I like the model, not painting no hassle. Minor assembly required. Since I don't use it as a toy, I think it will last me a long time, but the quality is a bit cheap. I wished that a Diecast version was out there.

well this little ship is a good model to have when you put it together the joints snap shut really tightly so its a great little toy ship to have but i dont recomend that a person should bend it though because it could posably break but i would recomend kids that are 12 yrs old to have this model since iam in north carolina the package is flown in from hong kong so for me it lnoy took two weeks to get here so i myself like the toy

I love it! Just like all the furuta models it is incredibly detailed for it's size. I have eight of these and I love all of them. 1701, 1701-b,c,d future(all good things) Pasteur, defiant, and now voyager.
They are not toys for little children, they are models for collectors. So they are durable as far as models go. Hot wheels make the toys. Be prepared to wait a little longer since they are shipped from Hong Kong, but they are worth the wait.
