Pretty pictures, Little substance,

Reading this travel guide makes me want to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands but does not give me all of the specifics on how to do it. The pages are adorned with beautiful pictures of this Caribbean paradise which make for great viewing. However, noticably missing are such essential items as comprehensive coverage of hotels, their prices, and detailed maps. It reads like a novel, great for daydreaming on my front porch, but leaves me looking elsewhere to make the plans for my trip.
