This is a great protector for your Macbook. It has an OK look to it, although I do prefer the original Macbook itself over any case. HOWEVER, there are two things I WOULD like to say about the case that take away some points. When the screen is open and you are using your Macbook, the bottom half and top half of the case meet, thus blocking about 80% of the one and only air vent on the standard Macbook. The other issue I have is minor but still should be noted: the top half of the case is just heavy enough to close the Macbook... if you have your screen titled down at all, (ironically about where it's at in the picture) then chances are your Macbook is going to close and go to sleep. Other than those two issued I am VERY glad to have this case.

I recently purchased this item in the Napa Black color for my white MacBook, and couldn't be more happy. This case is extremely easy to put on and take off - it took me just seconds to put on. Previously, I was looking at purchasing one of the clear plastic snap-on cases, but after reading about how they are prone to leaving scratches, I chose this one, and I'm very glad I did. The soft edges and suede-like fabric on the inside ensure that this case will leave no scratches on my computer, which is something I was very concerned about. I have also notice that the edges of my Mac are quite sharp, and were irritating my wrists as I rested them on it to type. This case also softens the edges, and typing feels much better now. It fits perfectly around all the ports, and I really like the cutout on the top that leaves the apple still visible.

The only negative thing I could say is that I wish the cover was made of a different material. I'm sure the leather is good quality, but I'm not a huge fan of the marbled texture of it. It looked a bit smoother in the pictures. However, I'm willing to look past this because of the great protection it provides. I'm also hoping the texture of the leather will smooth out a bit with more use and wear. This case also makes the computer a bit thicker than normal, and I have found that it will no longer fit in the neoprene sleeve case I bought for travel, but this is also a trade-off I'm willing to make. I can remove this case so easily that I can always take it off for travel, and then put it back on for everyday use at home. This case would probably also be protective enough on it's own for travel. This case costs about the same as those cheap plastic cases, and is a MUCH better option for the money. I'm so glad I made the right choice!

I recently purchased this item in the Napa Red color. It is wonderful! The leather is a good quality and the inside is soft so it won't scratch my Macbook. It was a breeze to put on, too! I ordered it on Wednesday night and it arrived on Monday. None of the ports or functions are prohibited, either. These cases definitely look more classy and sturdy then the plastic ones, and are the same price! Thanks for a great product!

I got this cover to protect the exterior of the macbook as I move my mac from place to place every day. People sometimes don't realize that I have a closed notebook and they stack charts on top of my machine. I have to say this leatherette case offers ample protection for what I do. It makes up for the durability I had with my old aluminum powerbook. I was slightly disappointed by the significant amount of weight and size it adds to the macbook, but its cool appearance more than makes up for this.

i purchased this a long time ago, only got a chance to do a review now, but it's gone through a lot, have been to a few different countries, and weather, and it is still going strong, i've recently got a new macbook and wish that i can find one for my new one but i can't find it anywhere,

This is a great product here, and the macbook lthr hard case fit my apple mac like a glove. I give it 4 stars

The u-suit fits well, it is a little off on one of the corners, but not noticeable, not important enough to send back. Looks good, does not look like cheesy pleather. All ports are accessable, the suit really does protect the macbook well. It does add some bulk to your laptop, but that is to be axpected. It is lined with a very soft material so the u-suit will not scratch your macbook. Good product, well made.

I liked the way this looked and felt when I opened the package. But I am not sure what kind of leather this is that would scuff and tear so easily. You barely have to touch it and it tears. It provides protection for the macbook, but the suit itself needs protection.

A friend recommended this cover to me and I can't thank him enough. I bought the 13-blk and it's fantastic. Protects well. Easy on and off and doesn't scratch the laptop in the process. Wish I had it for the macbook from the beginning. I just bought another one as a gift for a friend's probook. Highly recommend!
