You can hardly describe U2's music without using expansive adjectives like "passionate," "soaring," and "epic." After spending the 1980s making music to change the world, and spending the 1990s pushing the boundaries of artistic and political pop music, they released for the new century All That You Can't Leave Behind. This album, U2's twelfth, finds them returning to their anthemic rock roots with rapturous success. It also finds the commendably restless bunch once again vying for the title of "World's Best Rock Band," a position that hey alone seem prepared to fill.

You will be disappointed if you expect something similar to last year's calendar. No posed photos of the band together. All concert shots and if you're buying it for photos of Bono, you'll be disapointed. I prefer pictures of the band together and clearer images.

I am a huge U2 fan, buy their calendar every year. This years model is full of bad photos made worse by annoying notations intended to be informative, but are just annoying. This one may not even get displayed. I suggest you choose another calendar.

I must agree to an extent, this isnt the best of U2 calendars out there. Oddly is each month has a smaller pict. inserted in a week with each month and it is better than the main one of the month! Go figure While the pictures do look a bit gritty, it is intentional. Again, this is only a calendar so at least for me be overly critical of it is just silly. I LOVE U2 so anything with them in it is cool. If you do hate it, you can recoup your losses and resell it on ebay...
