Between the flat iron & a few magical spritzes of Morrocanoil Gold Shine, you're set!!!Your hair will have ZERO frizz, no matter how humid it is out, a beautiful golden glow & shine & it'll stay that way until you wash your hair!! I've been using the Maxius Maxiglide hair straightener for the last five years and loved it. A couple weeks ago, it finally went out on me and so I decided to do some research to see what else was out there. I stumbled upon the U9 and found a couple of reviews on it that peaked my interest. So I decided to "ADD TO SHOPPING CART", and with Amazon Prime free shipping... how could I not!?I received my package yesterday and immediately tore open the box to find this really fun looking PINK flat iron. I plugged it in and it reached 450 degrees within seconds!! That was impressive. I'm Hawaiian, so I have really REALLY thick, long, wavy hair. I do not own a blow dryer because of how frizzy and enormous my hair will be if I use one!! Generally, it would take me 45+ minutes to straigten my hair (using the 2" maxiglide), so I decided to time myself with the U9. As I said, it reached 450 degrees within a matter of seconds, so that cut a couple minutes off my time. I was impressed that one clean swipe through a good chunk of hair was all it took. I'm used to going over the same area two or three times. After 11 minutes, my entire head was done, and I kid you not when I say it looked like it had been done by a professional!! It was silky smooth, not one hair was missed!! I couldn't be more impressed!! I highly recommend this straightener to anyone!!! I have never been this excited over a hair product before. This hair straightener is going to change my life! No more waking up an hour early to get ready in the morning, no more going over my hair two or three times, and no more touch-ups throughout the day!! YES, my hair stayed pin straight all day long! I even slept on it just to see what it would look like in the morning and I didn't even need to do any touch ups! This is seriously an excellent product and is well worth every dime spent. I'm not sure if it will last as long as my Maxiglide did, but considering I won't have to use it as much, it should last a while! Hurry up and ADD TO SHOPPING CART!!! It's worth it!! ((I also purchased "Citre Shine Ionic Shield 425° F Protect Serum, 6-Ounce" to go with this flat iron.
