Most Helpful Customer Reviews

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Jay C. Dillon Jr. on July 10, 2012
Format: Hardcover
This is a book for people in a hurry, or for a kids' coffee table. (I think kids should not drink coffee because of the caffeine though.) This is a nicely planned and engagingly illustrated small book on a very intriguing topic. It would be ideal for any young person who is interested in science and astronomy or related topics. It's well balanced. Each chapter is a short writing in one or two illustrated pages, discussing aspects of this topic in an introductory style. If you are obsessed with UFO studies or dismissive of it, you will enjoy this book greatly--It doesn't overstate the case for UFOs and points you in some directions to take if you want to study further. I recommend this book highly. Even very busy people, practical, hard-nosed, and "down to Earth"-- will have time and be captivated long enough by these knowledgeable and tasteful authors, to have their imaginations opened up a little on this topic. (Illustrated throughout with appropriate topical B&W photos and drawings that boost the impact of each short chapter.) Small print alert: Folks of a certain age may need their magnifying glasses.
