Editorial Reviews

Review

The Conspiracy Journal, nor its associates or staff makes any claims for the authenticity of certain elements of this work. We present it merely as a bizarre part of history for the conspiracy buff and UFO researchers open to unorthodox theories and ideas. Warning! Certain aspects of this book may cause undue stress and anxities. --Tim Beckley, Conspiracy Journal

About the Author

AUTHOR DEPORTED FROM UNITED STATES. . . THROWN INTO JAIL IN CANADA - LANGUISHES IN GERMAN PRISON FOR YEARS . . .

Was it "hate mongering," anti-Semitism, or a strange belief in Nazi made Flying Saucers that caused the author's life condition?

Actually, no one knows who the exact author of this work really is as the person who put this work together used several pseudonyms including Ernest Zundel (the real source behind this collection) Christof Fredrich and Mattern Friedrich. Since it was pulished similar claims have been made by others that flying discs are made by secret societies on earth as long as Nazi hiding out at the South Pole. Many new photos of Nazi UFOs have been "discovered" and released for the first time are presented in this new edition.

First of all, let's clear up the confusion, expressed on the back cover of this book, about who actually wrote it. The author of the original work is "Mattern Friedrich," a composite of two names. Willibald Mattern was a German émigré to Chile in the 1920s, who had become well-connected in the highest Chilean political and military circles, and who had sent the principal author, Ernst Christof Friedrich Zündel, a 100 page manuscript on German secret weapons, especially flying saucers. For more background, see Zündel's "Zundelsite," and also try web searches on "The Hacienda Dignidad Saga" and "Aryan UFOs & Antarctic Bases."

Zündel, a German émigré to Canada and later the US, has offered decades of entirely non-violent opposition to those fixated on traducing his fellow Germans (see "The Great Holocaust Trial" by Michael Hoffman as just one example). For this he has suffered a serious arson, attempted mail-bomb assassination, and much more; most recently a "rendition" i.e. a political kidnapping, serving five years in a German jail.

As an artist with the outward-looking "Faustian" National-Socialist worldview, Zündel was naturally interested in space exploration, and had already corresponded with and interviewed some of the German UFO researchers who were still alive in the 1960s, including Rudolf Lusar. On receiving Mattern's manuscript, he incorporated it into the first, serious, German language edition of this book.

This current edition consists of the English version of the original work (165 pages), which Zündel himself called "a far more mickeymouse English language book." It has been reprinted from what seems to be a photocopy.
