5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive new books
A couple of months ago I was agreeably surprised by new books written by Maximillien de Lafayette. I am unable to locate any biographical information such as birthplace, birthdate, education, or highlights of his career in a reputable and authoritative resource. 5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive new books, June 5, 2008
This review is from: UFOs, Aliens Impregnated Women, Extraterrestrials And God: Sex With Reptilians, Alien Motherhood, The Bible, Abductions And Hybrids (Paperback)
A couple of months ago I was agreeably surprised by new books written by Maximillien de Lafayette. Dr. de Lafayette is a well-known scholar, jurist, linguist, and author, whose books I have read with pleasure and interest for over twenty five years, in three languages. I imagine most readers know about his former books, but currently, he has directed his attention to a new subject - the study of UFOs, extraterrestrials, and especially the Anunnaki connection to our religions and history. Dr. de Lafayette's broad knowledge of ancient languages helps his meticulous research, and in addition, his new interest is very timely, since the subject is now taken extremely seriously by Academia and will very likely be soon taught in colleges and universities. However, while the books are certainly scholarly, they are also highly entertaining and suitable for the intelligent lay reader. I am writing this review not about a single book, but about the body of his work, now encompassing, I believe, eighteen well-researched and highly informative books. While I am particularly impressed by his Anunnaki Encyclopedia, I plan to place this review on his other books as well, since I would not wish any thinking person to miss the opportunity to pursue them.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful starting place for information, May 17, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: UFOs, Aliens Impregnated Women, Extraterrestrials And God: Sex With Reptilians, Alien Motherhood, The Bible, Abductions And Hybrids (Paperback)
This is the third book in this series I have read, and once again, must give it a 5 star.

Some previous reviewers have said that these books contain information "easily" obtainable elsewhere, and the books are just cheep reproductions of the work of others.

Perhaps some of that is true, but any non-fiction literature begins with using what has already been written.

The material is well presented, organized, and many references given. I feel this author has given the novice a starting point. The average person I come in contact with have questions, but have no idea where to begin their search for the truth, nor do they have the time or resources to read hundreds of books on the subjects.

What I enjoy most about de Lafayette's books is how he includes bible verses to correspond with the information he is presenting in each chapter. I truly have never found any other author willing to be brave enough to take on the Christian belief system by pointing out that the stories were there all along.........

I spent 7 years working as an RN in a locked psychiatric unit. Many of the stories in this book were similar to stories I heard from patients. Unfortunately, instead of believing the women, the doctors heavily medicated them. For these women, and others who are looking for answers, this book is a wonderful starting place.

I was able to take the information presented, then go to the Internet and do a search for additional, more detailed information on each subject. Without this book, I would not have had a starting point.

If anyone can help me locate a published biographical essay on Jean-Maximillien de la Croix de Lafayette, please respond. I am unable to locate any biographical information such as birthplace, birthdate, education, or highlights of his career in a reputable and authoritative resource. Examples of acceptable resources would be: Who's Who in America or The International Who's Who, Gale's Biography Resource Center, any reputable dictionary of biography. I did find a website claiming to present his biography. However there is nothing to substantiate that such a person exists. I have concluded that perhaps the name may be a pseudonym for collective authors who publish under the name of the Maximillien de Lafayette publishing company. Consequently, how does one estimate the authoritativeness of the works of this particular series of books on ufos, extraterrestrials and ancient history? Are the books well-researched and documented? Are appendices and bibliographic citations included?

Thank you for any assistance. Purchasing for a library requires that we look not only at glowing reviews (that look suspiciously like promotional blurbs) but also find solid information on the author and his/her resources and documentation.

1.0 out of 5 stars Clearly covered with FAKE reviews, DUPLICATED among multiple books, July 7, 2008

This review is from: UFOs, Aliens Impregnated Women, Extraterrestrials And God: Sex With Reptilians, Alien Motherhood, The Bible, Abductions And Hybrids (Paperback)
Gee, something is fishy here. Why is it that multiple books by this author are given IDENTICAL reviews by the same reviewers? How is it that they're all priced exactly the same and carry either 5-star or 1-star reviews? Why do they use so many ANNOYING CAPITALS in their reviews?

It's also quite shocking to view all books "written" by this author and discover that they're being churned out 2-3 per MONTH. Per MONTH. No real writer can produce any book in 2 weeks, unless they're all the SAME book repackaged with a new stupid, overly long title.

These reviewers are apparently shills for the author. Don't fall for this blatent manipulation of the Amazon review system!!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Fantasy, gullibility, and quick bucks, May 29, 2008
By
This review is from: UFOs, Aliens Impregnated Women, Extraterrestrials And God: Sex With Reptilians, Alien Motherhood, The Bible, Abductions And Hybrids (Paperback)
Maximillien de Lafayette is a pseudonym. There is no such person, and most of "his" five-star reviews are generated by a common source. Readers may estimate the authoritativeness of M. de Lafayette's works by considering how hard the "author" works at disguising "his" pseudonymous nature. This book is fantasy, aimed at the gullible, in order to make a quick buck. I wish Amazon would police, and crack down on, this kind of "untruth in advertising". Maybe if enough of us bring it to their attention, they will.
