About the Author

I was born into a family of early ecologists located in the plantation country around Thomasville Georgia, in the Southeastern United States. Herb Stoddard was one of the fathers of ecology, and a close friend of another father of ecology Aldo Leopold. Herb owned the plantation next door and was an early mentor and like a grandfather to me. My father also going by the name of Ed Komarek, was the first major fire ecologist and was mentored by both Herb Stoddard and by Dr. Allee while studying at the University of Chicago, before he had to quit college and go to work as a museum collector for the Field Museum, when his father lost everything in the Great Depression. In 1967 at the age of 17 I traveled to Fairbanks Alaska to go to college majoring in wildlife management, already knowing more about ecology and land management than most professors, because I had lived and breathed ecology since infancy. I found academia not only stifling, but demanding of obedience rather than free thought and creativity. I found hunting, fishing, and outdoor sports like cross country skiing, much more fulfilling that college, and when it got too cold to get out much, I would go the bars in downtown Fairbanks to play pool and drink beer with my friends. On one of these cold 40-60 below zero days, I wandered out for some fresh air and encountered a small metaphysical bookstore on a side street. When I opened the door to the warmth and the smell of wind chimes and incense, I felt right at home among all the books on reincarnation, tarot, OBE and NDE experiences, UFOs and other paranormal phenomena. I began to read these books and a vast new world began to open up for me eclipsing the life I had so far lived. In several years I had quit college, practiced good mental emotional and mental hygiene, and became a much different person than I had been before. I found myself solidly on the path to enlightment and universal love. Now, nearing the end of my life, I wrote UFOs Exopolitics and the New World Disorder because I so appreciated how I had built my life on the good works of others. I wanted and I think I have succeeded in writing a concise, definitive, credible book on exopolitics. A book that clarifies and defines the emerging field of exopolitics the same way that Aldo Leopold defined and clarified ecology with his book The Sand County Almanac, and as Eric Drexler did for nanotechnology with his book Engines of Creation.

I had the pleasure of downloading Ufo's Expolitics and the New World Disorder and because it was my first Ed Komarek book wasn't sure if I would actually like it or not. I have been interested in everything paranormal and also what is covered in this book for a long time now and must say that this well writtten , well researched and not only that but the author is actually able to prove everything thats included here due to the amount of testimonies , and from well respected whistleblowers. It is a perfect book for those just starting out in the field , as they can reference case files.

one particular whistle blower is Ben Rich former head of lockheed said this "We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity..... anything you can imagine we already know how to do."

Carter former Us President also had an actual encounter with a ufo , Thus proving that everyone in all walks of life has had sightings and encounters. The above mentione people are only some of those that can be found in this riveting book. I said previously that it is a superb starting point for those just getting interested in not only ufology , but also ,The black world and NWO(New world order and the affects of this) One of the most famous cases in the world is covered which is Roswell and has been extensively proven to be real.

So for those who have yet to read Ed Komareks wonderfully put together book I highly recommend it for there may not be another like it for a long time.

Fascinating, well written book...could not put it down. Answers quite a few questions about why the world is so smurfed up right now.
The truth isn't out there....it's right here in this book!

The product itself came instantly to my Kindle from Amazon, and was well written, and would be useful and easily understood by newfound UFO buffs. I have been interested in the subject and following it for years, and found no new information or case studies here. It was a compilation of the same old subject matter. Not bad for someone new to the field.

Whenever reading books on UFO material, its important to me that I am familiar with some of the material discussed, but not so much that it feels redundant.
This book was the perfect balance of that.
The writing style was especially appealing, since it felt more like there was a conversation happening between the author and the reader, and less like reference material. This was appreciated, and made newly-introduced topics easier to digest.
I liked that he touched on many topics, and didn't saturate the book with just one, but the frosting on the cake was that there are *plenty* of footnotes/references in the back of the book so that you can delve deeper if you want to.
I actually came-away from the book with new interests, and a list of more material I want to research.
Thought-provoking.
You won't have other books going on while you are reading this one.

I really was excited to read this book and about 20 pages into it, I thought I'd made a mistake even downloading it. It could be a really good book but it's almost like the author had entered into "I want to be the brainest" contest. I've never seen such long and drawn out sentences. I haven't finished it but did make it half way through.... I was really relieved to start reading the peoples experiences. They werern't trying to be the smartest kid in the room. Could have been so much better. Wouldn't recommend it but that doesn't mean you might not like it. It was just a disappointment to me.

I downloaded this book on a whim at a discounted price. It ended up being one the better books I have on the UFO phenomenon. While the author does venture off at times from the Exo-Political Premise of the book, by the end i would say he accomplished his goal. Along the way he really does cover ALOT of information, mixed with a little interpretation. In fact, this was the first book i downloaded which i could not finish in just a night or two- i usually download then read my book straight through, maybe needing a second night to finish. This one had so much i couldn't do that. I was happy to get it at a great price, but wouldn't be upset if i had paid full retail.

I gave it four stars because of the overall writing. Komarek is straight forward and feels honest in his approach, but probably would have been served well by a good editor or maybe sitting on the work a bit and looking at the organization. He goes off on occasion (ex: the in depth and long section on physics not necessary to the books premise)and while the information is important and interesting, it makes the book feel like a mash up of things he wanted us to know but they dont always fit the confines of the title. I see the term exo-political often nowadays, and i think there is a rush in the UFO world to be one of the first on the scene and sell books by carving out your place under the current catch phrase.

All in all, it is a great addition to the library, covers some stories I have not heard before, doesn't come across too heavy handed, and would be a great pick up for a reader who has read the basics and is looking to expand their readings under the UFO umbrella.
