Book Description

December 8, 2008

Are we alone in the universe?

UFOs and all related phenomena have been deeply embedded into our culture’s consciousness—the possibility that aliens are among us can’t be easily dismissed or ignored. Today, one burning question keeps the fire of speculation raging: Do aliens really exist?

With a fair-minded, yet incisive, look at the case for and against extraterrestrial life, J. Allan Danelek takes you on a tantalizing tour of the controversial issues, paranormal experiences, and scientific theories surrounding UFOs and alien intelligence in this stimulating book on UFOs.

One big conspiracy?

Decide for yourself as you consider the fascinating facts—the mysterious crash in Roswell, crop circles, alien abductions, radar and satellite observations, and more. Danelek delves into government cover-ups, examines the prospect of space travel, and even proposes scenarios of first contact with an alien race.

By taking part in this captivating discussion, we can discover the truth about our world and gain insight into human nature. What will the ever-evolving UFO debate reveal about your beliefs?

1.0 out of 5 stars Nothing new, January 5, 2009
A Kid's Review
This review is from: UFOs: The Great Debate: An Objective Look at Extraterrestrials, Government Cover-Ups, and the Prospect of First Contact (Paperback)
OK So the subject of UFOs is popular, but does that mean that any writer can write a UFO book just to cash in on the popularity? This book has a nice cover, but that all I can say about it. The material in the book looks like it was taken from other well known (real) UFO reserachers like Friedman, Imbrogno, Good,Hopkins just to name a few. This book offers nothing new and looks like it was reserached from the authors computer.

If you are looking for a UFO book to read, there are many others out in the cosmic void.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brain Feast, November 21, 2010
This review is from: UFOs: The Great Debate: An Objective Look at Extraterrestrials, Government Cover-Ups, and the Prospect of First Contact (Paperback)
This is an exceptionally well written book. The author takes a detailed, logical and very objective look at the UFO debate. The theories you will explore, quite throughly, will have you re-thinking what the "experts" suggest. It opened my mind up to a whole new way of not just looking at the UFO issue but to re-consider other UFO related events and how they fit the big picture. What I had previously dismissed as nonsensical or mass hysteria have now taken a new "rank" as they now make sense from my new point of view I have from reading this book. Im now re-thinking a lot of things after reading this "brain feast" of a book. EXCEPTIONAL READ !!!!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Objective Look at UFO Phenomenon, February 5, 2009
This review is from: UFOs: The Great Debate: An Objective Look at Extraterrestrials, Government Cover-Ups, and the Prospect of First Contact (Paperback)
I thought that this was a very interesting overview of the UFO phenomenon that takes a calm and objective look at what is, in reality, one of the great open questions of our era. What are UFOs? What are alien abductions? Having had an abduction experience myself and written a book about it, Communion, I would be the first to say that they really happen. But what are they? Do we really know? Danelek is asking some very important questions here, and the book deserves a wide audience among thoughtful people.
