The UFOs of October is an entertaining and insightful look at life and shows Robert Bove to be excellent poet who can combine humor and sensitivity. The poems covering his job reporting on UFOs in Honduras is the most entertaining but the whole work stands on its own as a solid achievement.

This is good solid poetry and the book should be read at one sitting to get the full impact of it. I can't think of another modern poet that could handle these subjects so succinctly and honestly. Highly recommended.
