Although this book is well over 20 years old, it has some very interesting information. I first read this book almost 10 years ago and found its explanaiton of the UFO phenom. refreshing. The appendix is filled with scientific information that help one understand the topic presented. If you read this book and keep reminding youself how old it is you can better appreciate it. I wish there were more current books like it. The best recent book like it that I can recommend is "Alien Encounters" by Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman, which I recommend if you are seeking a different view of UFO's.

how can a book be terrible and VERY good at the same time?
well on the one hand they force all UFO sightings into one narrow frame of refference.(Demonic manifestations) I've done UFO research and they fall into three or four main groups...depending on your criteria. (One of which I indicated were just that ...demonic) but these guys deliberately overlook obvious differences in UFO's insisting they all fall into this one group so to the informed UFO researcher or even the not so informed they sadly reduce the value of what they do finaly show. They show lots of speculation baced on their preconcieved theory, when the actual sighting may or may not actualy support their conclusion, but then they are not heavy on actual sighting evidence for this very reason. They gloss over some sightings that might show contrary evidence to their preconcieved theory, and they interpret sightings rather than giving more exact sightings stories, and they interpret all UFO pilot conversations with the worst possible Spiritual implications.

They are determined to force all UFO sightings into their narrow focus rather than constructivly create other possible explanations for what has been observed so again they appear to have blinders on and appear frustratingly obtuse in their explanations. They deliberately pass over particular sightings even when you can see they have senced another possible answer could be considered...or admit some unusual sightings have been seen which you can sence do not look so much like their conclusions are iron clad.

Their grasp of the technical nature of the UFO's capabilities is also sadly lacking in depth. They ram all abilities of UFO's into occultic/ mental realms rather than admit some of the technology seen in UFO's is actualy possible, and they fail to admit other reasons for their different appearances. For example some of the UFO's can dissapear and streak at extreemly fast speeds, and they fail to see and make a connection to the fact that man has done this very thing in the Philedelphia experiment...not to mention other evidences that clearly show the capabilities of the UFO's is concievably within our grasp.

Though they acknowledge that UFO sightings go back to ancient times (something that not all UFO researchers have admitted) again they fail to grasp that mankind appeared to have had their capabilities and seen the early UFO, describing them in unusual detail as is the case with the Indian Vimanas. So the first half of this book was extreemly frustrating to read. In My book I realized that UFO's come in three types and one of the types I acknowledged was the Demonic manifestations type. This book forces all UFO's into this one type.

HOWEVER!!!!!

I do however acknowledge after reading this book that there are more of this type than I had initialy considered.
Once you are willing to admit that SOME UFO's are in Fact demonic / anti mankind, their information that they do present us with is essential in understanding many UFO sightings...in particular UFO contactees and the authors warnings are indeed needed to be considered an heeded. They showed that not only have they come to this conclusion, but that many well known UFO researchers have come up with similar conclusions... conclusions that many of the books I read on UFO's did not go into! So though this book is a bit obtuse in it's deliberations, I consider it an essential UFO book for understanding some UFO's, as sadly other UFO books seem to avoid this explanation for some UFO's all together!
