Ugg boots are great. I bought these for my husband, the ladies sizes run a little big, I wear 8 1/2 and ordered 8 they were fine. For my husband, the half size down was too small.

I bought a pair for my wife and she told me how warm her feet were while wearing them so I decided to buy a pair for myself. I wear them without socks as they are so warm and comfortable--i think wearing socks w/ these shoes would get a little too warm for my feet.

I went to my local Nordstrom's to find a pair of these to check out and try on since they had them on their website.I was looking for Black.I wear a 9 1/2 in every shoe I have.I had noticed on various sites including UGG's that because they didn't come on half sizes I should "size down".The store I went to had 1 pair of chestnut in a size 10 that was it no size 9 and no black in any size.
I tried the size 10 on with normal white athletic socks and my feet were "swimming" in them and the back were very loose.So I said fine and I went home and ordered a size 9 in black online.They came and they look great but even with a very thin dress sock they are "tight" and a little narrow in the width as well.I noticed people saying they don't wear them with socks so I've been trying that a bit and they seem to be bearable.The size up was too big,the size down was too small.I think the length isn't so bad as much as the narrowness of the the width.The bottom line is shoes come in half sizes FOR A REASON !!THESE SHOULD AS WELL !!! I would try these on anywhere you can in person BEFORE you buy them online,or order 2 sizes and know that you're going to send 1 or both back. I actually wanted to get the "Classic Tall" but of course they only come in Chestnut.I suppose making more than 1 color in those would just be a ridiculous idea?? *eye roll* UGGHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!
