This review is from: ASUS UL50Ag-A3B Thin and Light 15.6-Inch Black Laptop (Windows 7 Professional) (Personal Computers)
I still rate this laptop 4 out of 5 stars because it's such a good value for the price and the advertised 12hr battery life will be fantastic. However, when my laptop came in 5 days ago I found out that there was a problem with the battery. I charged it for over 24 hours and the Battery Status always showed "47% available, (Plugged in, Charging)", however when I disconnected the power cord the laptop immediately shut off like no battery was installed. Tech support was friendly and they're supposed to be sending me a new battery this week. I'm not a fan of the flush touch-pad but I love the multi-touch capability. I would prefer individual left and right click buttons instead of the bar because if you're not on the far ends of the bar it's not real easy to click. My work laptop is an IBM T-series and it supposedly has one of the best keyboard layout on the market, so others may not notice/agree with these complaints. Considering the specs of this laptop, it's very sleek and thin. Assuming the new battery fixes the issue I had, I'm very pleased with this product.
