Maximum Protection and Tactile Sensitivity. The rubber radiation reducing gloves are manufactured from rubber compounded with lead. They provide protection from X-rays. Designed to protect operator, patient or other persons from exposure to radiation during radiological procedures. Several sizes available to fit your hand comfortably. Comes in Grey. Tech Data - Medium - Thickness 0.28 mm, Lead Equivalent = 0.16 The rubber X-ray protection gloves are available in sizes of 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9 with a thickness of 0.28mm and a lead equivalent = 0.16mm. Manufacturing is done by dipping of moulds in a solution of rubber compounded with lead and chemicals which preserve the characteristics of the glove and protect them from photo-oxidation. The thickness depends upon the number of dips and layers formed during dips. The first layer is of pure rubber (rubber solution without lead) for the protection of user from residual lead particles and for making it resistant to traction. The gloves are anatomic shaped with/without a beading, easy to wear, soft and comfortable. They provide high degree of protection from radiation.
