If you love the Left Banke, April 3, 2009

There are two songs on this record that make it all worthwhile. "Two By Two" and "Love Songs In The Night". As far as I am concerned, this is the Left Banke. Steve Martin has got to be the finest pop vocalist ever to come from America and Michael Brown is a master at making it all sound perfect.
Obviously, I love this band and wish there was an easier way to obtain all of their missing masterpieces. The way to start is to get "There's Going To Be A Storm". But there is much much more beyond that. Sire must reissue "The Beckies" on CD.
