As a public speaking professor, I use a stopwatch quite often to time the speeches of my students. The last thing I want to do is use a tool that beeps distractingly. I love this stopwatch because it's simple to use (start, stop and reset) and it's silent. The attached cord makes it easy to find in my school bag too!
