This battery works very well. Just as good if not better than the actual Makita battery. They are all overpriced in my opinion, but this one is about $15.00 cheaper than OEM. It is made in Japan, not China like other replacements. This does matter. Japan (Panasonic) leads the world in battery quality and technology. Bottom line....The battery is worth the price.

I was somewhat skeptical to buy a "generic" brand replacement battery for a very well known name brand tool. I have purchased replacement batteries before but always the Makita brand. This "generic" replacement has performed very very well for a fraction of the price. It came up to charge quickly and has held it's charge well through several projects. I would recommend this battery to anyone.

This battery is better than original makita battery. I noticed on the battery that it is made in Japan.That is a good thing.

The battery is just what I expected from the add. m It worked fine ande was delivered in a timely manner

Did not live as long as the OEM battery. Worked great for several months, then refused to take a charge. Had to go to the store and buy an OEM replacement, and over a year later, I'm still using that one.

I have an older Makita drill. The batteries had finally gone bad. Replacement batteries were 2 1/2 times the cost I paid here. I was looking at tossing a perfectly operational drill just to find a good price for a complete set up.

A search here at Amazon revealed replacement batteries for an excellent price. So, I ordered two of them. They fit the charger that I already have. The drill now has a second life and I'm not filling up the trash dump with useful tools. So, go green, give your old tool new life, recycle your old batteries and buy new batteries here at Amazon.com.

Needed a battery for my makita drill. Saw the ads and reviews. Bought an Ultralast UL9615. Ran Great for 2 months, and dropped dead to "0" volts. Will do nothing just like the importer. They are braindead. Do not back their products. These batteries are "JUNK". Just go to home depot, buy this with the makita name ($39.95), and it will last 3-4 years. TJK Morgantown, Pa.

I always liked the size and power of my Makita drill; aging and faltering batteries made me contemplate buying a new unit. This battery is an excellent and economical solution. At this low price I bought two and unlike others offered I was able to continue using my existing charger.

The battery fit perfectly into my Makita drill, and performed as well as the original.

I am down in Brasil and my old batteries died long ago.
Replacements here are extremely costly, prohibitive, in fact. However, Amazon.com does NOT ship this item international.
