About the Author
Mark Goldwich is a Florida native - born and raised in Miami, and currently living in Jacksonville with his wife and two children. In 1986, Mark earned a BSBA degree in Insurance from the University of Florida, and has been a licensed insurance adjuster in Florida since 1987. He has also held licenses in Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky. After 17 years with one of the largest insurers of homes and autos in Florida and the nation, and handling tens of thousands of claims from New York to California, and from Texas to Canada, Mark decided to put his decades of insurance experience to work for insurance victims. Mark has consistently delivered outstanding results - settlements averaging 400% higher than the amounts initially proposed by insurance companies! The book, Uncovered, by Mark Goldwich is a significant book that every homeowner should read. Mark uses his many years of experience in the insurance industry to point out the unseemly ploys that take place behind the scenes when claims are processed for property damages. The book explains why delays occur, why many valid claims are denied, and how insurance companies deflect their responsibility to other entities, rather than assuming it themselves. Once you understand how the insurance companies operate, and the obstacles they use to improve their bottom line profits at the expense of the insured claim filer, you will realize that you need an insurance expert (a public insurance adjuster) on your side if you are ever faced with a natural disaster to your property and/or the delays, denials and deflections insurance companies use to your detriment. This book is a much needed wake up call for the insurance consumer.

First,
Mark has helped me. I read the book and called him. The book is very surprisingly readable. I guess it's because it feels like he's talking about us, the common man. That's how I felt anyway. This book is valuable, chock full of info from real people dealing with insurance companies. Anyway, I felt much more comfortable dealing with my insurance company. I didn't feel powerless. It helped me beyond my expectations. I could go on...FIVE STARS.
