This product worked really well. I got to take some awesome photos and didn't have any technical problems with the case - no leakage/condensation or anything else to complain about. Some of the pictures came out pretty dark, but I'm sure thats more on my camera than this case. Would definitely recommend it for the price.

I ordered this case for my sony HX5V/B. Even thought this case is not specifically for HX5V/B, i took the risk and ordered it. To my surprise, it fitted perfectly. The lens slot is also fine. But only issue is with the lens cap closed, i am able to zoom only till 3.5X optical. but that is okay considering this case is not meant to be used with HX5V/B. If i open the lens cap, then i am able to zoom fully (under water you can't open the lens cap though :-)). i tested the water proof case and it looked perfect. Also, to my surprise, the seller shipped the case fast and it reached me within couple of days.

I tried to select a case that matched my Sony DSC-W50 the best, but this case was still oversized and many of the pictures underwater were aimed higher that the target because of trying to use inside the bag. Essentially, these products are just waterproof bags. If going on a quick vacation where you want some beach and underwater photos, buy one of these. If you want something that you can you for multiple vacations or you live near a beach, buy the better exact fit plastic case for your camera.

I recently purchased this case to take on a cruise. I was looking at inexpensive water proof digital cameras and came across this case and figured, for 30.00 I would give it a try. I am glad I did. It was relatively easy to use. The only real issue I had with it is getting the camera in there with the wrist strap attached and ensuring it was out of the way so I could properly close the case. I was able to do it but it was a little tricky.

We took hundreds of pictures under water and on the beach with the case on and some with the case off and I honestly do not see a difference. The only way you can tell is if the camera is not perfectly lined up with the zoom lens positioned exactly where it belongs, you will get a bit of that zoom lens in your picture. This is something my husband was not aware of an many of his pictures have that line. But I will just photo shop and crop them out so no harm. Just something you need to be aware of.

This was a decent item, though after my trip, I'm starting to think that it wasn't really worth the expense. It didn't really work with the cybershot that I bought it for. Every time that I turned the camera on, the lens didn't fit into the lens space on the case. With my older cybershot camera, it worked well, kept water out, and took really good pictures in water.

I initially bought this case because I was going to be going on a cruise. The case itself is pretty easy to use and it fit fairly well (considering it's essentially a thick plastic bag). My only problem was it was hard to zoom in and out. I didn't have any problems with condensation or alignment. I have yet to use the lens extender...I tried, but couldn't seem to figure out how to put it on. Overall, a decent item to keep your camera waterproof.

Worked well enough for the price...definitely keeps your camera dry, which is good. However, the one size fits all approach led my camera to slip around in the waterproof bag leading to a lot of shots that had obstructions in the picture from the zoom compartment of the bag (it let's your zoom extend). Nothing that some cropping after the fact could take care of, but as a solution it leads me to suggest that's it's neither great or good, but just OK.

The underwater images are crystal clear (as HD should be) when using the waterproof case with my Cybershot camera; however, since the case is larger than the camera, it rubs against it producing scratchy, unusable sound. For the same reason, I ended up with part of the lens rubber ring recorded on one or two corners of many of my images even when I held the camera tightly to avoid getting the ring. Next time I use the underwater case, I'll wrap the it tightly with packing tape. Hopefully, the camera won't move inside.
