My experience with inexpensive multimeters has been they are accurate in their readings of volts, ohms and current. This meter is no exception.

The short comings show up in its sensitivity and accuracy in some of the other functions. For example the specification for the HZ reading is 300mv RMS under 100k HZ and 600mv RMS over 100k HZ. You need a pretty strong signal to get a reading. Reading capacitance the accuracy spec reads "For refer only" at 4nf or less. The lesson is, read the spec sheet.

I found the meter to be within spec on every test I made. The only problem is some of the specs, outside of the usual VOM readings, were pretty low, but at $15 it is a bargain.

I had a crappy $5 multimeter then bought this one for the added features (Hz, Duty Cycle, etc.) and to have two multimeters. Its very good for the price but I can't comment on how accurate it is (since I have nothing to compare it against).

This meter has been of great use to me for the past couple months, and it works perfectly fine. Never had an issue with it. However there are a couple things about it that do rub me the wrong way. The leads are not very good quality, I have seen reviews where the leads don't even work upon opening of item. My leads fortunately worked, but started to break fairly quickly. The Black lead is almost bad due to the cord literally ripping off where the pen meets the wire. I have never mistreated this meter, it is from regular wear and tear. Its has only been a few months and now I have to already buy new leads. In addition if you are looking at this meter because of its capacitance meter, this is not the meter for you. It only has a range up to 20farads before it just says overload.
Other than those 2 little issues, this is a really good meter, very accurate.

I just got this and haven't used it for long.
But it's pretty impressive what it could do in terms of it's functions.
I also liked the small size and the price is lower compared to a fluke.

I have a few multi-meters lying around, and I bought this for the frequency and duty-cycle measurements. It is accurate and works well. The removable leads is another nice touch. My only complaint is that the continuity tester doesn't always work well. It emits a very static filled beep for a short circuit, which can be misleading at times. Another issue is that the resistance measurements are spotty. My other multimeters get a value quickly off of a resistor of known value but this multimeter bounces around and doesn't settle down to a value. This doesn't always happen, but it is very frustrating at times. Overall, for the price, its a good buy. I haven't tested the frequency measurements but everything else works well, asside from what I've already mentioned. I think the few downsides make this a good tool to have, especially if it's not your primary tool.
